Zoren Legaspi celebrated his 51st birthday Monday night with dinner with family and friends at a restaurant in a hotel in Mandaluyong City.
Snaps from the “impromptu” birthday celebration were posted by his wife Carmina Villaroel on Instagram on Tuesday, wherein what was supposed to be a simple birthday celebration turned out to be a reunion with some friends and family.
“About last night….. Z’s impromptu birthday dinner. [emojis] Happy Birthday again @zoren_legaspi Missing our son, @mavylegaspi We love you so so much tatay,” said the actress in her post.
Aside from Carmina and daughter Cassy Legaspi, also seen in the pictures were Zoren’s mom Hershey Garcia, brother Brando and his wife Maggie, and public relations strategist Glenda Olid.
Cassy’s twin, Mavy, however, was absent during the celebration because he was at work.
“Missed you guys! Work muna me!” he said in his comment on his mom’s post.
In another Instagram post, Carmina penned a more touching tribute for her husband.
“People call you Zoren, Zo, Z, Zman, Coach Astig, Hollywood actor, Pogi, Sir, Kuya, Bro, Tito, Ninong, Direk but to me you’ll always be my dinosaur, honey, our bunso and our tatay. Happy Birthday @zoren_legaspi. I pray that GOD will grant all the desires of your heart. You’re a good man. May God bless your beautiful soul. I love you tatay kahit maputi na ang buhok mo,” she said.
Last November, Zoren and Carmina marked their 10th wedding anniversary, even though they have been together 12 years before they got married. Their twins were born in 2001. EDV
