Despite his massive popularity, Coco Martin does not feel like he has what it takes to become a politician, saying that public service is not really his forte.

“Ang feeling ko kasi ay hindi ‘yun ang forte ko. Hindi ako doon magaling (I feel that it is not my forte. It is not where I am good at),” he said when asked if he will enter politics during his launch as the newest ambassador of a pharmaceutical brand recently.

Kaya dito ko talaga binubuhos ‘yung pagod, lakas at talino. Para sa akin, ito ang mahal ko. Dito ako masaya kahit pagod na pagod ako,” he said.

(I look where I will be able to develop myself more, where I can explore more. When I saw it, although I did not study in the world I live in, in the creative in directing and in acting, but I saw my talent. This is why I poured my fatigue, strength and intelligence. For me, this is what I love. This is where I am happy even though I am tired).
