Five days before the coronation night of Miss Universe, Celeste Cortesi has been serving stunning pre-pageant looks worthy of the crown.
As Miss Universe kicks off its pre-pageant activities in New Orleans, in the United States, the Miss Universe Philippines 2022 titleholder made sure to show up in style in various glamorous ensembles fit for a queen, as seen on the Instagram accounts of Cortesi and the Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH) organization.
Here are some of Cortesi’s pre-pageant looks so far:
Despite having a busy schedule, Cortesi looked effortlessly chic in a white turtleneck sweater, an off-white fur jacket, straight-leg jeans, and high-heeled boots on Monday, Jan. 9.
The MUPH organization also shared close-up photos of the beauty queen’s casual look on the same day.
It seems that the Filipina-Italian beauty queen is fond of black, as she donned an oversized Chris Nick coat, a low-cut midi dress, and knee-high boots. She finished off her look with a pair of sleek black sunglasses, a handbag, as well as a pastel green luggage for a pop of color.
Cortesi also turned heads in a custom-made pink feather dress created by local fashion designer Christine Lam. The Barbie-inspired number is paired with sparkly silver accessories and matching pink slingback heels.
The beauty queen looked stunning in another all-black outfit, which included another Chris Nick cover-up, black mini-dress, and knee high boots.
Cortesi also joined in the head-to-toe neutral trend as she wore a cream-colored coords by Chynna Mamawal paired with a logo handbag and high-heeled shoes. The look was complemented by smokey eye makeup and nude-colored pout.
The MUPH organization also shared glimpses of Cortesi’s renaissance-inspired shoot on Sunday, Jan. 8, where she looked mesmerizing in an intricate gold lamé ballgown, gold jewelry and tiara.
The beauty queen also turned up the heat in a white swimsuit with cut-outs that showed off her curves.
Cortesi took a page out of a menswear fashion magazine as she showed up at the Miss Universe press conference in a white pantsuit.
The Filipina-Italian also showed modern-day elegance in a gold Michael Leyva creation with a thigh-high slit, along with matching accessories and a fur coat at a pre-pageant dinner.
Cortesi is vying for the Philippines’ fifth Miss Universe crown after Gloria Diaz (1969), Margarita Moran (1973), Pia Wurtzbach (2015), and Catriona Gray (2018) at the 71st Miss Universe on Jan. 14 (Jan. 15 at 9 a.m., Philippine Standard Time). The upcoming pageant marks its first edition under the Thai-owned conglomerate JKN Global Group. EDV
