The Legend Villas: Stressful weddings now a thing of the past

As much as they are filled with promises of happiness and romance, planning weddings can test relationships. Imagine worrying about the caterers being late, the floral pieces clashing with the overall motif, the ring bearer missing, or the soon-to-be in-laws getting hysterical.
To end all couples’ wedding planning nightmares, the Legend Villas launched their Crystal Weddings packages last week with two bridal themes that make for “truly unforgettable” nuptials.
Ginger King-Villavicencio, The Legend Villas Chief Operating Officer, said that the wedding packages Quartz and Onyx are designed to provide fine touches to weddings all taken care of by the hotel’s wedding coordinators.
With The Legend Villas aiming to be a one-stop shop for those tying the knot, “stressful weddings are now a thing of the past,” she stated.
A wedding package with the hotel includes a wedding coordination kit with a free service of a day coordinator while a master of ceremonies will also be available in planning and facilitating programs for the wedding. The package will guide the couple in planning the wedding, brushing away all worries at the later stages of the wedding preparations.
Quartz, Villavicencio explained, was meant for couples who prefer a fairy tale themed wedding. The warm yellow hues of the bridal theme add a magical glow to the event. This package is complete with an elegant, classical table setting, she said.
The Onyx package, on the other hand, was for those seeking a stylish and chic wedding that is evoked by the dramatic black and white motif.
Both themes are designed with crystal trees and floral centerpieces, candles in pedestal votives, mint-filled crystal jars and personalized menu cards.
The hotel also offers a wide array of dishes for the two bridal themes, from freshly baked breads, soup, fresh salads, four main courses, pasta and carving stations, desserts and beverages. All wedding packages come with a bottle of red wine and a three-tiered cake or a three-tiered stand filled with cupcakes.
Guests will be able to write their wishes for the newlyweds through the special ‘wish table’ equipped with note cards, pencils and ornate apothecary jars.
At the end of the event, guests will also be taking home soap boxes filled with the hotel’s special handmade soap tablets.
For the couple, the bridal themes also include an overnight stay with breakfast for two in a Villa Suite Deluxe prior to the wedding. An overnight accommodation complete with breakfast for two in a Honeymoon Suite has also been prepared for the newlyweds on the night of the wedding. Additional rooms for guests are discounted 40% of the published room rate.
The Quartz and Onyx themes are priced at P155,000 and are good for a hundred guests.
The sprawling hotel continues to improve its service by adding the wedding packages, said Villavicencio. “We are positioning The Legend Villas to be the next wedding venue in Metro Manila for small, intimate and elegant weddings.”
