BB Gandanghari appeared to have mended fences with her brother, actor-politician Robin Padilla, and spent time with the latter’s two daughters during the actress’ visit to the Philippines.
BB Gandanghari, born as actor Rustom Padilla prior to transitioning to being a woman, showed herself having a conversation with nieces Isabella and Gabriela, along with three other kids, via her Instagram page on Wednesday, Dec. 21.
Padilla’s daughters were also seen introducing themselves, as well as their grandmother Eva Cariño.
“Being in the presence of children has the ability to be more present: watching their moves, conversations, humor and most of all play,” BB Gandanghari said in the caption, with the hashtags “homecoming,” “happy holidays,” “happy heart” and “family time.”
“If we, as adults, can incorporate this child-like behavior into our daily lives, we can learn to live more from the heart,” she added.
BB Gandanghari was also earlier spotted attending the Mutya ng Pilipinas coronation night together with Padilla, in a video posted by pageant account The Philippine Pageantry on its Instagram page on Dec. 5.
It can be recalled that the siblings had a falling-out in 2020 after the actress ranted against Padilla for not reaching out to her, when rumors spread that she had died in the United States, where she had been staying for sometime after her transition. In the same year, she apologized to Padilla and said that she regrets hurting him with her words.
Bb Gandanghari, who officially became an American citizen in April, came home to the Philippines earlier this month. She has since bonded with her family and visited her late brother Royette Padilla’s grave. EDV
