I had an unusual Christmas last year. I was staying in Siargao when Typhoon “Odette” (international name: Rai) hit, so we had no electricity and all. This year’s holiday season is also new because I have a Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry (“Deleter”). This time, I will be with the fans and moviegoers. I think we will do a cinema tour, so I’m looking forward to seeing everyone. I miss going to the cinemas.
Our Christmas celebration is usually just a simple dinner with loved ones—nothing crazy.

Susulitin ko ’yung MMFF pass. I will try to watch all films because I miss watching movies with an actual audience. I enjoy being among the crowd and seeing people’s reactions. It’s just a different feeling and experience. I miss that. And since the economy is opening up, I hope to travel with my film “Deleter,” and do the festival circuit. I also want to see the reactions of the international audience. I’m excited to do Q&As with people who are curious about our culture and films.
