WATCH: Sharon Cuneta surprises pianist playing her songs in mall

Sharon Cuneta and her husband, former Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, paid a surprise visit to her pianist fan Tito Bong who plays her songs in a mall in Makati.
The singer-actress sang her hit song “Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko” along with the crowd while Tito Bong was accompanying her on the piano, as seen in a video on Pangilinan’s Instagram page on Sunday, Dec. 11.
“Sinamahan namin ang sweetheart ko para isorpresa si Tito Bong — a regular pianist sa Rockwell Power Plant Mall. Lagi kasi n’ya tinutugtog ang mga kanta ni Sharon tuwing Sunday,” he said in the caption.
(We accompanied my sweetheart to surprise Tito Bong, a regular pianist at Rockwell Power Plant Mall. He always plays Sharon’s songs every Sunday.)

Cuneta and Pangilinan were delighted to see the pianist in person again as he had to temporarily pause his performances in the mall due to pandemic restrictions.
“During the pandemic, Tito Bong went viral for playing the piano for almost [two] hours to raise money for his medicines,” Pangilinan stated. “At the time, seniors like Tito Bong weren’t allowed to go outside. So we sent him a little help for him to get by.”

Cuneta and Pangilinan recently had a six-month quarrel, with the singer admitting they thought it “would lead to a separation.” Cuneta did not immediately disclose what caused their spat.
Cuneta also earlier appeared to be contemplating retirement from showbiz as she opened up on being “undeniably exhausted” at age 56.
