Sunshine Dizon gave an update on her health after she disclosed that she was diagnosed with bronchitis, aside from suffering from mental health conditions.

The actress shared her diagnosis while showing herself with an oxygen mask and dextrose injection through her Instagram page on Sunday, Dec. 4.

“So this is my best effort to look cute and feel my rays of sunshine to uplift my spirits,” she said in the caption. “So far, thank God it’s not [COVID-19].”

“Again, I tested negative for COVID-19. So far, what my [pulmonologist] is saying is bronchitis,” she added.

Dizon then appealed to fans to include her as well as those “battling something” in their prayers.

“I know prayers work wonders so do [please] pray for me and everyone you know battling something,” she concluded.

Dizon earlier said that she has been diagnosed with several mental health illnesses such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, panic attacks and abandonment issues. The actress has been taking medications for these conditions, noting that she sought help to “free herself from the stigma.” EDV
