Gretchen Ho mourns passing of her father: ‘You will live on in us’

Gretchen Ho expressed her grief as she bid farewell to her father James Ho who passed away last Wednesday, Nov. 9, at the age of 65.
The TV host and former volleyball athlete showed a photo of her dad cheering during a volleyball game, through her Instagram page on Monday, Nov. 14.
“Panalo na tayo (We already won). Love you dad,” she said. “You will live on in us. Rest easy.”

Gretchen earlier looked back on her memories with her father, including their last drive together and the last basketball game he had. During his final moments in the hospital, James was able to write on a paper, asking his family to bring him home.
While the cause of death was not immediately stated, Gretchen had disclosed that her father had a heart problem.
