Cristy Fermin on Ruffa’s quitting

RUFFA Gutierrez

Cristy Fermin is like a mother to all of us on the TV5 show “Paparazzi.” It was only proper that I ask her on the raging issue of Ruffa Gutierrez’s quitting the program. Here’s what Tita Cristy said:

No bad blood

Since I was not in the studio last Saturday for “Paparazzi” (having been assigned to do a live feed from Makati Med to report on Dolphy’s condition), I asked Mr. Fu—who was part of the controversial “Bulong ng Palad” segment—about the issue.

“It’s ironic,” he said. “Ruffa quit the show after what happened in the bulungan portion but I will miss her candid whispers about our features, or any situation happening in the show. I still see her as a lovable lady. No bad blood and promise no more bulong.”  Hmmm … I can almost imagine Mr. Fu doing an interpretative dance of the infamous song, “Careless Whisper.”

No reason to be jealous

Dingdong Dantes shrugged off rumors about his girlfriend Marian Rivera being jealous of Angelica Panganiban because of some love scenes in a movie they (Dong and Angel) are making. “There is no reason for her to feel that way,” explained Dong. “We are way past that stage in our relationship.”

Instagram

Twitter has become an unfriendly place for some celebs because of the bashers and “negatrons” polluting their timeline. Most of them have turned to Instagram where followers are generally pleasant.

I recently signed in as dollywood922. I look forward to browsing through pictures of my celeb friends daily. It’s quite interesting to see what they post —like Richard and Lucy Gomez and their daughter Juliana’s Paris shots; Ai Ai de las Alas and her special someone whom she refers to as Babe; Baron Geisler’s horseback training; Paolo Contis’ “ulirang ama” pics with his daughter; KC Concepcion’s vintage Hermes bag from her lola, and more.

The shots alone tell a story. It gives you a glimpse of the little details you don’t get to see on-cam. What a voyeuristic thrill!

Luke Mejares gig

Don’t miss my pangga Luke  Mejares’ post-birthday concert, “Groove in the Name of Love,” on July 7 at Metro Bar. Guests include Duncan Ramos, Princess Velasco and Sub Projek (Lloyd Zaragoza, Brenan Espartinez and Joshua Desiderio of Freestyle). For me, Luke could very well be called “MJ of the Philippines.” Come see for yourself.
