Precious Paula Nicole, the first winner of “Drag Race Philippines,” is set to make an appearance at RuPaul’s DragCon to be held in January 2023.
The drag queen will be appearing alongside other queens from the “RuPaul’s Drag Race” franchise, as seen on DragCon’s Instagram page today, Oct. 14. RuPaul’s DragCon will be held in London, United Kingdom.
“My precious, delicious, ambitious! It’s time for the big reveal—[Drag Race Philippines] Season 1 champion [Precious Paula Nicole] is coming to #DragCon UK 2023!” it announced.
RuPaul’s DragCon 2023 will be held on Jan. 6 to 8, 2023 at the ExCeL London convention center in United Kingdom.
Main stage performers for the event include Alyssa Hunter, Elektra Fence, Veronica Green and Filipino drag queen Jiggly Caliente, among others.
Precious Paula Nicole was hailed as the first-ever “Drag Race Philippines” superstar last Wednesday, Oct. 12, besting 11 other contestants. During the show’s season finale, she won against fellow contestant Marina Summers after they lip-synched “Sirena” by Gloc-9.
“Drag Race Philippines,” hosted by actor-TV host Paolo Ballesteros, premired last August under the streaming platforms HBO Go, Discovery Plus and Wow Presents Plus. Its main judges were Caliente, Ballesteros and celebrity impersonator KaladKaren. /ra
