Heart Evangelista makes cameo in US series ‘Bling Empire’

Heart Evangelista can finally be seen in the American reality series “Bling Empire,” as she made a cameo on the show’s third season.
The actress spent time with “Bling Empire” star Kane Lim and his friends in a Filipino-inspired party to “celebrate” her as “one of the most influential influencers in the world.” This took place during the ninth episode of the show’s third season, which premiered on Netflix today, Oct. 5.
Prior to the season’s premiere, Lim confirmed Evangelista would be involved in the series via his Instagram Stories today. Lim also showed a video of himself with Evangelista and Chinese-American film producer Kelly Mi Li.
“Philippines, you asked for it, you got it! Guess who will be [in] ’Bling Empire’ [season 3]. Tune in tonight!” he said.

Meanwhile, Evangelista earlier teased her appearance in the series via Twitter, also today. Her announcement came minutes before the full third season of the show was released on Netflix.
“‘Bling [Empire]’ on Netflix in about 30-ish minutes? See you,” she told fans.

The actress then expressed gratitude to Lim and Li and called them “angels.”
“It was a fun cameo. Thank you Bling Empire for the sweetest party,” she added in another Twitter post today.

Speculations that Evangelista would be appearing in “Bling Empire” came as early as August last year, when she was seen bonding with Lim during a trip to the United States. The actress was also among the guests in Lim’s birthday party last December.
“Bling Empire” is a reality show that follows the lives of real-life “crazy rich Asians.” The series premiered its second season last May.
Evangelista herself has been dubbed a “crazy rich Asian” by author Kevin Kwan who wrote the novel “Crazy Rich Asians.” The two collaborated for a feature on Harper’s Bazaar in 2018 and have since become friends. /ra
