Kris Aquino offers help for Lolit Solis’ dialysis needs amid her own illnesses

Kris Aquino has offered help for the dialysis of columnist and talent manager Lolit Solis, even as she herself is battling with autoimmune diseases, Solis revealed.
The Queen of All Media had reached out to Solis after personal shopper Ronite (@dpersonalshopperph) talked to Aquino about her condition, as per Solis’ Instagram post yesterday, Sept. 27.
“Kaya hindi ko puwede hindi mahalin si Kris Aquino dahil lagi siyang ready to help out kung kailangan mo siya, Salve. Dahil nasabi sa kanya ni Ronite [na] nagda-dialysis ako, kaagad niyang pinatawag si Alvin (Aquino’s assistant) para alamin kung ano kailangan ko at ibibigay niya agad,” Solis narrated.
(The reason why I can’t help but love Kris Aquino is because she’s always ready to help out if you need her. Since Ronite told her that I am undergoing dialysis, she immediately called her assistant Alvin to find out what I needed and she would give them right away.)
“To think na meron siyang sakit at nasa abroad siya. Talagang kahit [love-hate] ang relationship namin dalawa, hindi talaga nalimutan ni Kris Aquino ang naging friendship namin,” she added, noting that she never saw a “mean bone” in Aquino.
(To think that she is sick and she is abroad. Though we had a love-hate relationship, Kris Aquino never really forgot our friendship.)
For Solis, Aquino may appear to be “naughty” or “tactless,” but she is “bukas palad” (generous) and “mabait ang puso” (has a kind heart).
“More than anything, gusto ko gumaling si Kris para sa mga anak niya. Sana naman anuman ang sakit niya gumaling na at maging energetic siya uli,” she said. (More than anything, I wish for Kris’ recovery for the sake of her chidlren. I hope that whatever her illness is, she will recover and go back to her energetic self.)
Solis then expressed gratitude to Aquino and advised her not to be stressed over things that are “walang kuwenta” (worthless).
“Pagaling ka Kris, don’t stress yourself sa mga bagay na walang kuwenta. You are loved and you are worth the love,” she told Aquino. (Get well Kris, don’t stress yourself over things that are useless. You are loved and you are worth the love.)

Aquino has been diagnosed with four autoimmune diseases, but revealed earlier this month that she has been showing physical manifestations of a possible fifth illness. She also said she would be undergoing chemotherapy for her condition.
Recently, Aquino admitted that the treatments she had been getting were taking a toll on her, though her writer-editor friend Dindo Balares assured that the actress was still “playful” whenever she talked to him. /ra
