LOOK: Heart Evangelista tears up during magazine cover shoot

Heart Evangelista broke down in tears during a fashion magazine photo shoot, days after admitting she was “in search of happiness” amid “personal struggles.”

The actress featured behind-the-scenes moments from her photo shoot for L’Officiel Philippines’ Fall 2022 cover via her Instagram Stories today, Sept. 7. One of those moments showed Evangelista sobbing while she was being assisted to get ready.

Evangelista’s staff who was holding the camera can be heard laughing lightly, and the actress eventually joins her by smiling and chuckling.

“It was a moment,” Evangelista said without giving details on what pushed her to tears.

It appears this “moment” eventually passed as Evangelista was joking about the big accessories she wore later in the photo shoot.

“Napapagod na ko sa bigat ng alahas,” she quipped. (I am getting tired of this heavy jewelry.)

Evangelista revealed last Friday, Sept. 2, that she has been dealing with “personal struggles” but that she is trying to look on the bright side of things. She also spoke about her realization that material items may “help a bit” in making her feel good, although they do not bring the “best moments in life.”

The actress narrated that empowered women inspired her to make changes on the things she posts on social media, so that now she shows an “unfiltered version” of her life.

This comes amid speculations that Evangelista and husband Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero’s relationship is on the rocks, after fans noticed she dropped the Escudero surname from her Instagram account. The pair is yet to speak up on the rumors as of this writing.

Evangelista and Escudero got married in an exclusive ceremony in Balesin in 2015, after being in a relationship for two years.  /ra
