Bianca King has revealed she and her non-showbiz husband Ralph Wintle are about to be parents as she is now pregnant with their first child.
The actress announced her pregnancy by showing off her baby bump on her Instagram page yesterday, Aug. 20. The couple can also be seen embracing as they both cradle King’s baby bump in another Instagram post, also yesterday.
“I lived my life exactly the way I wanted. Took my time and did everything I needed to do. When it was time for us chase the dream of becoming parents, we were ready as ever,” King said.
King admitted that she almost gave up in trying to have a baby and noted that the experience was not easy since she was already in her mid-late 30s.
“I mentally gave up and was about to do IVF (in vitro fertilization). But surprise! A natural miracle happened,” she told fans.
King expressed gratefulness to her husband for “setting [her] on the path to becoming a mama” and being the a great fur parent to their pet dog Willow.
“We both feel confident that we will be the best parents. I hope our baby inherits his looks and athleticism but my personality and creativity, and our shared wit and wisdom,” she added.
The couple received congratulatory greetings from King’s fellow celebrities, including actress Carla Abellana and singer Ogie Alcasid.
King and Ralph, who are now based in Australia, got married at their home in Sydney in June 2021. Ralph is the brother of Ben Wintle, husband of actress Iza Calzado, who recently revealed that she is also expecting her first baby. JB
