Miriam Quiambao revealed that she is in isolation after testing positive for COVID-19, marking the second time she caught the coronavirus.

The Binibining Pilipinas Universe 1999 titleholder disclosed that she is isolating at home and is experiencing only mild symptoms. She also showed photos from her visit to a spa last week as a way to “boost” herself, as seen on her Instagram page yesterday, Aug. 3.

“I woke up this morning and that’s enough to be grateful to God for. Battling COVID-19 can be a pain but even on day [three], I am thankful to be alive and that I only have mild symptoms this time around,” she told fans. “Remembering these moments by the pool at The Retreat Spa in @okadamanila last week gives me a boost for the day.”

Quiambao also showed a positive COVID-19 test on her Facebook page last Tuesday, Aug. 2.

“Here we go again,” she said.

Now on her fourth day of isolation, Quiambao continues to breastfeed her kids, as per her Instagram post today, Aug. 4.

The beauty queen noted that when breastfeeding, she makes sure to wash her hands and practice double masking to make sure she does not cough or sneeze on her kids.

Quiambao first tested positive for COVID-19 last January, after initially getting a negative result in an antigen test. She then recovered from the disease later in the same month.  /ra
