MANILA, Philippines – Model-actor Mikael Daez on Tuesday revealed his top five sexiest actresses under GMA 7 during an interview with co-hosts Janice “Jenene” Cruz and Ervin Santiago of “Klik Showbiz” on Radyo Inquirer 990AM.
The 24-year-old actor chose his “My Beloved” and “Amaya” co-star Marian Rivera as one of the GMA 7’s sexiest actresses.
He defended Rivera from detractors who said her beauty was passé, saying “hindi nagagasgas ang kagandahan niya e (Her beauty is the kind that doesn’t fade away). In person, very pretty talaga siya.”
Ranking second on his list was model-actress-TV host-amateur painter Solenn Heussaff, who to him appeared even more striking in person.
On third place was “Starstruck” winner Sarah Lahbati, who he described to be getting more beautiful every year.
Lahbati was followed by Sam Pinto, with whom he shared a scene in the prime-time drama “Legacy.”
“Kita mong pinaghirapan talaga niya (na mamaintain yung figure niya),” he said, referring to Pinto’s well-maintained physique.
Capping off his top 5 sexiest GMA 7 actresses list is Isabelle Daza, daughter of actress and former beauty queen Gloria Diaz.
He said that he met Daza even before entering showbiz when they were still kids playing basketball.
“Nakalaro ko pa siya ng basketball nung bata pa kami. Naglalaro siya kasama ng boys, the next thing I knew nakita ko siya sa GMA at (na-feature) siya sa Rogue (magazine), ang ganda niya dun (She was among those kids who I played basketball with. The next thing I knew she’s on GMA and she was featured on the cover of Rogue magazine. She was stunning there).”
