Andi Eigenmann expressed disappointment after seeing litter at a beach in Siargao, reminding beachgoers to be responsible with their trash.
The actress showed a pile of bottles, cans and plastics disposed improperly, through her Instagram Stories yesterday, July 18.
“The least you could do is be mindful enough to take [your] leftover alak and pulutan and kalat (alcohol, snacks and trash) with you after you enjoy a fun night of inuman (drinking) at the beach,” she said. “Or did you expect our sea patrol kids to be the one to pick up after your trash?”
While Eigenmann addressed the irresponsible trash disposal, she did not mention who left the said litter at the beach.
Eigenmann has been living in Siargao with her kids Ellie, Lilo and Koa, and her fiancé, celebrity surfer Philmar Alipayo. In 2020, the actress called on tourists to respect the island and its residents, who “share their home to so many people from all over the world.”
Meanwhile, Eigenmann and her family went to Indonesia last month for a vacation, marking their first trip abroad as a family. /ra
