Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach is grateful to finally complete her collection of beauty pageant sashes after she retrieved her old Binibining Pilipinas sash, from when she won years ago.
The beauty queen gushed over getting the sash back via her Instagram Stories yesterday, June 13. She also revealed she had a meeting with the pageant’s 2022 candidates, known as Binibinis.
“Had an amazing time with Bb. Pilipinas today. It was such a pleasure catching up with old friends and reminiscing. I also had the pleasure of meeting the Binibinis,” she said. “Oh and [by the way] after so many years… I got my sash back! My collection is finally complete!”
Wurtzbach noted that she last saw her sash before she flew to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2015, when she won the Miss Universe title. She then thanked a certain Kuya Jun who kept the sash safe for her.

Wurtzbach joined Binibining Pilipinas three times before being crowned Miss Universe Philippines in 2015. She was named first-runner up when she joined the competition in 2013, then made it to the top 15 in 2014.
The beauty queen’s victory in the local pageant qualified her to join—and win—the global Miss Universe pageant, also in 2015.
Meanwhile, Wurtzbach is preparing for her wedding with her boyfriend Jeremy Jauncey. The couple announced their engagement last month, during their trip to Amanpulo. /ra
