Ruffa Gutierrez ‘at peace’ over daughters, Yilmaz Bektas’ reunion: ‘Took patience, a lot of faith’

Ruffa Gutierrez could not seem to contain her joy and stated that the reunion of her daughters Lorin and Venice with their father, Turkish businessman Yilmaz Bektas, was “worth the wait.”
The actress showed moments from her daughters’ trip in Turkey through a video on her Instagram page yesterday, June 13. At the beginning of the video, Lorin, Venice and their Turkish family were inside a car with Yilmaz waving at the camera in the driver’s seat.
“Trust in God’s perfect timing,” she said. “It took patience and a whole lot of faith, but everything was worth the wait.”
The father and daughters bonded over a meal together, and they also went on a yacht date where Lorin and Venice soaked up the sun with their half-sister Ilknaz.
Gutierrez then concluded her post by adding the hashtags #NewBeginnings, #AtPeace and #ReunitedAtLast.

Gutierrez previously revealed that her daughters and ex-husband will reunite at Istanbul, Turkey after 15 years of being apart. The actress then sent off her daughters who are “looking forward to reuniting with their Baba and Turkish loved ones.”
Gutierrez parted ways with Bektas in 2007 and their annulment was granted in 2012. Ten years after their annulment, Gutierrez said that she has “no regrets” over their marriage, describing it as a “bittersweet journey.” JB
