Tom Rodriguez on ‘gag order’ amid annulment rumors with Carla Abellana: ‘Truth will prevail’

Tom Rodriguez revealed that he was given a “gag order” amid rumors that his annulment with estranged wife, actress Carla Abellana, is now being processed.
The actor received various reactions from fans after he posted a photo of an explosion with a cryptic message along with it, via his Instagram page last Saturday, June 4. The post has since been deleted but was re-uploaded by netizens on social media.
“Things go south, mushroom clouds. No one’s left around. Money bought, power talked but no one’s listening now. And empires claimed, up in flames, burnt to the ground. History repeats, video reels going round and round,” he said.

Rodriguez then spoke about the supposed gag order after one @isabellefajardo6 asked him about telling the “whole truth,” via the comments section.
“Why not tell the whole truth now? Why wait?” the netizen asked, to which the actor answered, “Gag order, Ask THEM why,” without further elaborating.
Rodriguez also replied to one @tattoootttt who urged the actor to fight for Abellana, adding that the actress apparently still loves him.
“Not true. And you all know a tiny fraction of an entire story. But one day the whole TRUTH will prevail!” Rodriguez commented.

Aside from his post and response to netizen comments, Rodriguez showed a photo of a man with a tape on his mouth, via his Instagram Stories. He also took down the post later on.

Prior to these, Rodriguez dropped a cryptic photo of someone breaking free from chains which coincidentally came after showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin claimed in her YouTube vlog last May 26 that Abellana was preparing documents for an annulment.
Rodriguez and Abellana, who got married in October last year, were speculated to have broken up after fans noticed that the two unfollowed, then followed each other again on Instagram. The actress’ father, actor Rey “PJ” Abellana, then revealed last March that his daughter and Rodriguez were indeed having marital problems, adding that a “one-night stand” was involved.
