Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla are set to treat fans on a trip to their love team’s beginning, present and future through a reunion special with directors Olivia Lamasan, Cathy Garcia-Molina and Mae Cruz-Alviar.
The actress revealed the upcoming project, “2Good2gether: A Special Reunion,” while showing herself and Padilla with the three directors via her Instagram page last Monday, May 2.
“How did we get so lucky to have not just one, not two, but three directors who patiently guided us every step of the way? We are beyond blessed to have been mentored by these [three] amazing women!” she said. “Direk Cathy, Direk Mae and our Inang (Lamasan), maraming salamat po (Thank you very much). You know the rest!”
Bernardo then noted that “mothers know best” as she teased further details about the reunion special.
“Don’t miss out as Direk Cathy Garcia Molina, Direk Mae Cruz Alviar and “Inang” Olivia Lamasan take us through KathNiel’s beginning, present, and future!” she told fans.
“2Good2gether: A Special Reunion” will premiere on ABS-CBN Entertainment’s YouTube channel. A release date is yet to be revealed as of this writing.
The reunion special comes as Bernardo and Padilla, known as the love team KathNiel, are set to make their TV comeback through the series “2 Good 2 Be True” this month.
The series is directed by Cruz-Alviar, who also worked with the couple in their films “Can’t Help Falling in Love” and “Crazy Beautiful You.” It will premiere on the streaming service Netflix on May 13 and on free TV on May 16. /ra
