Heart Evangelista learns how to make gourmet tuyo, tinapa in Muntinlupa
Heart Evangelista showed her support for women in Muntinlupa City by visiting a training center where she learned the process of making local food products such as gourmet tuyo and tinapa.
The actress and wife of Sorsogon Gov. Francis “Chiz” Escudero found out how to do the said products when she met with some 160 women undergoing livelihood trainings, as per a release by Escudero’s office yesterday, April 28. This was during her visit at the Muntinlupa Training and Resource Center for Women.
Aside from gourmet tuyo and tinapa, Evangelista also learned how to make bottled bangus and peanut butter. This is part of Evangelista’s efforts to learn ways to support the community for her women empowerment advocacy.
She also showed more moments from her visit via her Instagram page yesterday, April 28.

She noted that they are all participating in the program “to give love, to take care of people and so as we get together.”
“I am here to just show my support sa lahat ng ginagawang mga programa para sa (for all the programs for) women empowerment and of course, I am here for the women that have gone very difficult times of their life,” she said. “Sana makatulong sa inyong makapagnegosyo ang matutunan ninyo dito.” (I hope that what you learn here will help you in putting up a business.)
“Suportahan din po natin ang mga programa na binibigay ng city para mas maging maayos ang ating mga buhay at mabigyan natin ng pansin ang mga capacities natin to create wonderful things and create an impact,” she added.
(Let us also support the programs of the city so that our lives will be better and we can see our capacities to create wonderful things and create an impact.) /ra
