Organizers of a musical event to help raise money for Sickly Mentor (SM) were a little perplexed by Seasoned Veteran’s (SV) unexpected reaction to their SOS. After all, SV is known in show biz circles to be one of SM’s favorites. SV has even won awards for one of SM’s pet projects.
But when the group asked SV if he wanted to donate, all SV said was, “Let’s just pray for SM”—and that was the end of it.
Of course times are hard, and these things are voluntary. But surely, money couldn’t have been the reason behind SV’s “refusal” to help SM because SV continues to jump from one teleserye to another. We wonder what SM’s reaction was to SV’s “apathy.” Oh, well.
