Kim Chiu has traveled to Thailand for her first international flight in two years, as she told fans about her experience of boarding a plane again apparently for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic.
The actress and “It’s Showtime” host narrated her latest experience in international travel while showing herself outside an airport via her Instagram page today, April 12.
“First international flight after [two] years! Medyo nangangain ng uwat ‘yung feeling (The feeling eats up folls)!” she quipped.
Chiu then recalled her experience with a guard at the airport, when she almost forgot to show her ticket and presented all her documents to the staff instead. She even showed her papers to another guard even when the latter was only guiding her to where her flight was.
Chiu visited Bangkok, Thailand, where she got to enjoy a nighttime view of the city from a high-rise building, as seen on her Instagram page yesterday, April 11.
She then went to Phi Phi island group, where she lounged by the beach and had lunch. The actress was accompanied by her boyfriend actor Xian Lim during her trip, based on her Instagram Stories, also yesterday.
Chiu was recently noticed by Yuna Shin of the K-pop girl group ITZY after she posted a dance cover of the latter’s song “Swipe.”
Last March, the actress also recalled the van shooting incident that almost took her life in 2020. She reminded the public to have a “grateful heart” and thanked God for “the gift of life.” /ra
