Derek Ramsay reminisces on proposal to Ellen Adarna one year after: ‘Best decision of my life’

Derek Ramsay looked back at the day he got engaged to his wife, fellow actor Ellen Adarna, a year after he popped the question.
The actor recalled the milestone while showing moments from his proposal on his Instagram page yesterday, March 30.
Ramsay can be seen hugging Adarna in front of a neon sign bearing the words “Will you marry me?” and posing with her alongside her son Elias, whom she had with her ex-boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz, as well as his son Austin.
“Exactly one year ago, I made the best decision of my life. I love you, [Ellen Adarna],” he told his wife.

For her part, Adarna showed throwback photos of Ramsay on one knee and giving her an engagement ring, as seen on her Instagram page, also yesterday.
“Same day last year,” she said, along with a heart emoji.

Adarna and Ramsay had a whirlwind romance last year, first confirming in February 2021 that they are in a relationship.
The couple then got engaged a month later and tied the knot in November in a dreamy ceremony in Bataan. /ra
