Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach is about to take fans on a culinary adventure around the world with her new travel-inspired food business, Pia’s Kitchen.

The beauty queen’s business, which is available on a delivery app, will initially offer Japanese cuisine, but is set to change its menu throughout the year, Wurtzbach stated on her Instagram page last Monday, March 28.

“After months of preparation, meetings [and] food tastings… I’m finally launching my own food business. [Pia’s Kitchen] is an ode to my love of food and travel,” she gushed.

Wurtzbach admitted that the “first stop” of “Pia’s Kitchen,” Japan, is a special place for her since she picked up a “lucky amulet” in Tokyo after she lost Binibining Pilipinas 2014 and before she competed in Miss Universe. She opted not to reveal what her business’ next food offering will be.

“Surprise muna kung saan ko kayo dadalhin next (Where I’ll bring you next is a surprise)!” she quipped.

Prior to setting up Pia’s Kitchen, Wurtzbach had also launched another food business. Back in 2019, she set up a milk tea shop with her friends, actress Pauleen Luna and chef Niña Almoro.

During her reign as Miss Universe, Wurtzbach also appeared on Miss Universe’s online segment “Cooking with Miss Universe,” where she showed fans how to cook lumpia and empanada.  /ra
