Marvin Agustin and Jolina Magdangal sent a wave of nostalgia to fans of their pairing as they went on a trip to Singapore together.
The actor gave fans a glimpse of his trip with Magdangal while showing a behind-the-scenes video of what appears to be their new collaboration on his Instagram page today, March 5. It also seems like the pair’s new project is related to food as Agustin stated they had been “eating non-stop.”
“[Jolina Magdangal] and I have been eating non-stop for [three] days. Grabe, sarap mag-food trip dito (Wow it’s great to go food tripping here)!” he said.
Agustin also had a “date night” with Magdangal where they had cocktails, as seen on his Instagram page last Thursday, March 3. He referred to Magdangal as “labtim,” which was their term of endearment.
“Date night with labtim at @elephantroomsg. We tried their Singapore-reimagined cocktails,” he told fans.
For her part, Magdangal showed their visit to CHIJMES, a historical complex in Singapore, via her Instagram page yesterday, March 4.
“Ang ganda dito. Mahangin ngayon saka parang uulan siya so binibilisan na namin, pero siya ay mga restaurant sa loob ng Catholic convent,” she said. (It’s beautiful here. It’s windy today and it looks like it’s going to rain, so we’re trying to rush this, but it’s [made up of] restaurants inside a Catholic convent.)
Aside from exploring the food scene in Singapore, the former love-team partners had some fun during their trip by doing the TikTok dance for Icona Pop’s “Clap Snap,” seen also on Magdangal’s Instagram page yesterday.
Agustin and Magdangal may have teased their collaboration last month when the actress asked Agustin to bond again while he told her they should cook together.
“MarJo,” Agustin and Magdangal’s tandem, was one of the most famous celebrity love teams back then. They worked in various projects together such as “Labs Kita… Okey Ka Lang?”, “Flames: The Movie,” “Gimik: The Reunion” and “Hey Babe!” /ra
