Miss Universe Philippines has introduced its top 50 candidates for its 2022 edition, including experienced queens who may be the country’s bet in the Miss Universe pageant.
The Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH) organization released its list of the top 50 while showing glam shots of the candidates on its Instagram and Facebook pages yesterday, Feb. 28.
“Introducing this year’s roster of Filipina beauties vying for the most prestigious crown in the country! This edition is made more exciting by starting with 50 official delegates!” the organization stated.
MUPH added that it will be “narrowing the field” until it reaches the final 30 delegates, though it did not reveal when the said roster would be announced.
Familiar names who made it to MUPH’s top 50 are Miss World Philippines 2019 Michelle Dee, Miss Earth Philippines Celeste Cortesi and Miss Universe Philippines 2020 third runner-up Pauline Amelinckx.
