PH films in Edinburgh fest

The 65TH Edinburgh Film Festival will feature a retrospective of Filipino films. Curated by filmmaker, poet and musician Khavn de la Cruz, the program will showcase 11 short and 11 feature films, including Lav Diaz’s “Florentina Hubaldo, CTE,” De la Cruz’s “Mondomanila” and Emerson Reyes’ “MNL 143.” Also scheduled at the fest is a film concert, featuring Manuel Conde’s “Genghis Khan,” with a live performance of The Brockas led by De la Cruz, Diaz, Reyes and fest director Chris Fujiwara. The Edinburgh fest will run from June 20 to 28 in Scotland. Bayani San Diego Jr.
