Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez spent her Valentine’s Day arm in arm with a mystery man as she gave fans a glimpse of her date for the occasion.
The beauty queen showed herself holding the arm of a man as they donned matching black ensembles in what looks like a date in Grand Hyatt Hotel, BGC, as seen on her Instagram page today, Feb. 15.
“Valentine’s Day,” Gomez said, along with a black heart emoji. She did not state whether the man in the photo is her new beau.
Gomez also did not give the name of her Valentine’s Day companion, though she tagged disc jockey John Odin in another photo of them together via her Instagram Stories, also today.
They appeared to have shared a meal together as the beauty queen showed a photo of her food with the man across the table from her.

Netizens on Twitter wondered whether Gomez’s Valentine’s Day photo was her way of her confirming that she is now in a new relationship. One @equallove8, for instance, described the photo as Gomez’s “jowa reveal.”
“Nag-jowa reveal din pala si Bea ng [Miss Universe Philippines],” the netizen stated. (Bea of Miss Universe Philippines also apparently did a jowa reveal.)

Meanwhile, one @maldita_mom appeared to have speculated that Gomez cheated on her ex-girlfriend Kate Jagdon with Odin.
“Eto yung guy that she cheated with? Kaya nagbreak sila ng [girlfriend] n’ya?” she asked. (Is this the guy that she cheated with? Why she and her girlfriend broke up?)

Gomez was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2021 in September last year. She was the first out member of the LGBTQ+ community to win the competition. Before winning the Miss Universe Philippines crown, Gomez had been vocal about her relationship with Jagdon.
For the beauty pageant’s interview challenge last August 2021, Gomez mentioned doing several hobbies such as boxing and scuba diving, which she did with Jagdon. She also said they had been together “for six years, going seven in a few months.”
Jagdon confirmed her split with Gomez in November 2021. She did not disclose the cause of the breakup. /ra
