“I don’t like sharing. We’re always private. We don’t even post pictures together,” said actor Arjo Atayde on how he and girlfriend, social media superstar Maine Mendoza, handle the pressure of being in the public eye.
“I don’t see being private as a bad thing. What I just don’t like is when her name gets dragged into politics-related topics,” the actor declared, adding that he has since become more open to answering questions from show biz reporters about his love life. In fact, Arjo recently revealed in an interview that Maine could finally be the person he would settle down with.
‘I’m complete’
“We’ve been together for years now. We’re really happy, and maybe the reason I’m speaking about us more now is because I feel contented with the relationship,” he explained. “This is me. I’m complete, with all the adjectives I could use.
“What’s there to hide? I love the person,” he declared. “If you ask me the right questions, I’ll just answer you. I will not try to hide anything as much as possible. If I don’t get asked then I won’t say anything.”
