Iya Villania and Drew Arellano are finally building their first family home as they held a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the milestone.
Villania announced that she and Arellano are set to have their own house by giving fans a glimpse of an expansive lot on her Instagram page yesterday, Dec. 4. The actress-TV host showed a photo with Arellano and their children Primo, Leon and Alana holding shovels while wearing matching hard hats.
“Today was a special day. A first for our family. Thank you, Lord #Groundbreaking,” she said.
Villania also showed their youngest child Alana playing with dirt in the field while they all posed for a family photo.
“We tried to get Alana to look but our little construction worker was too busy,” she joked.
Fellow celebrities expressed excitement for Villania and Arellano, including Isabel Oli, Doug Kramer and Camille Prats.
The couple did not state where their family house will be constructed, though Arellano reportedly expressed interest in building a home in Rizal province last year. The family currently lives in a condo unit with family helpers and the actress’ mother Elena.
Villania and Arellano tied the knot on Jan. 31, 2014 in Batangas, after 10 years of being in a relationship. They welcomed their eldest child Primo in 2016, their second son Leon in 2018 and their daughter Alana in July last year. JB
