Bela Padilla clarifies she’s not quitting showbiz after moving to London

Bela Padilla assured fans that she is not leaving her career in the Philippines after recently revealing she is currently based in London, England.
The actress stressed that she just wanted to stay in London for a while amid the COVID-19 pandemic, as per her Twitter page last Friday, Nov. 26.
“I’m getting a lot of [direct messages] asking me why I quit my job. I didn’t say I was gone for good,” she said. “I’m just currently based in London since the pandemic is still ongoing.”
Padilla then noted that she still has two upcoming movie projects in the Philippines.
“In fact, I have a movie coming out in February and had a call from Viva yesterday to write my next film already,” she told fans.

Padilla flew out of the country last July, receiving well wishes from celebrity friends including Dani Barretto. She then revealed last Monday, Nov. 22, that she has been based in London for a while.
The actress explained that she wanted to find her “footing” first before telling the public about her move to London.
Padilla’s most recent projects include her appearance in Ben&Ben’s “Magpahinga” music video alongside veteran actor Joel Torre. One of her most recent films is “On Vodka, Beers and Regrets” where she starred opposite actor JC Santos. JB
