The group’s agency YG Entertainment said in a statement published in Soompi that Lisa, whose full name is Lalisa Manoban, tested positive for the new coronavirus on Wednesday afternoon. Other members of the group — Jennie, Jisoo, and Rosé — were still waiting for the results of their swab tests as of this posting, although they were not yet classified as close contacts of Lisa.
“BLACKPINK’s Lisa was diagnosed with COVID-19 this afternoon (November 24),” the agency was quoted as saying.
“The other three BLACKPINK members have not been classified as close contacts yet, but they immediately received PCR tests after hearing of Lisa’s positive COVID-19 results, and they are currently awaiting their results,” the statement added.
