Actor Enchong Dee, who recently turned 33, admitted that as a gift to himself, he bought “something that was totally out of my investment plan.”
However, Enchong refused to reveal what this was. He merely said, “It’s a vehicle that when I ride it, feeling ko pogi ako.”
“I don’t put a lot of money in the bank. I don’t like to have a lot of liquid cash because when I do, I would often feel too lazy to work. The moment I save a specific amount, I would already look for where to invest it,” the actor said when asked to talk more about how he handles his finances.
Enchong added that he would like to take a break from show biz work for a while. “I’ve been working even during the start of the pandemic lockdown last year. I rarely said no to a job offer. This break will be the next chapter in my life.”
Enchong is currently celebrating his 15th year in the biz.
He added that this break could also be a time for him to focus on his love life, or the lack of it. “I want to feel that feeling again. I want make time for that. I feel that at this point in my life, when work arrives, everything else gets set aside. I know myself—If ever I fall in love again I would need to take a break from whatever I’m doing,” he explained.
Is he already pursuing someone at the moment? “Of course there is someone. I will reveal when I’m ready. But for now, let’s all just chill.”
