Alden Richards and Sylvia Sanchez led the roster of winners in the 36th Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards for Movies held yesterday, Sept. 26.
Sanchez was hailed as the Movie Actress of the Year for her performance in the film “Jesusa.” Meanwhile, Richards earned the Movie Actor of the Year award for his role as Ethan in the movie “Hello, Love, Goodbye,” as seen on PMPC’s Facebook page, also yesterday.
Ricky Davao was awarded the Movie Supporting Actor of the Year prize for “Fuccbois” and Maricel Laxa was named Movie Supporting Actress of the Year, also for “Hello, Love Goodbye.”
Brillante Mendoza won the Indie Movie Director of the Year Award for “Mindanao” and Cathy Garcia-Molina was the Movie Director of the Year winner for “Hello, Love, Goodbye.”
