Ellen Adarna, Derek Ramsay go on pamamanhikan trip to Siargao

Ellen Adarna, Derek Ramsay and their families have taken a trip to Siargao for a pamamanhikan as the couple prepares to tie the knot.
The pamamanhikan is a Filipino pre-wedding tradition where a man and his loved ones formally ask for a woman’s hand in marriage in front of her family.
It appears Adarna and Ramsay’s wedding may be just around the corner as the actor showed their families meeting, as seen on Ramsay’s Instagram Stories yesterday, Sept. 15.
“Adarna – Ramsay family,” he stated, accompanied by a family photo.
Ramsay also gave fans a glimpse of his meeting with the actress’ mother by showing a photo of himself with Adarna, her mother Meriam, and her son Elias, through his Instagram Stories on the same day. The photo was accompanied by the hashtag “#mamanhikan.”
Elias is Adarna’s child with actor John Lloyd Cruz.

For her part, Adarna showed photos of both families at a beach in Siargao on her Instagram page, also yesterday.
The couple went fishing and swimming with some of their relatives during the trip.
