What a monumental coup between Regal Entertainment and GMA Network
There is a long celebrated history between Regal Entertainment, Inc. and GMA Network. In fact, this partnership between these two giants of the entertainment industry has always been there for decades, and now that partnership has been strengthened, revitalized and made official once more moving forward.
“Regal Studio Presents” had its primetime debut last night (Saturday) at 8:30 p.m. on GMA which immediately trended and got viewers at home excited to watch more of it. “Regal Studio Presents” will have its regular Sunday time slot of 4:35 p.m. on GMA beginning Sept. 26, 2021.
“Regal Studio Presents” will be a special television program in GMA that will serve as a showcase of the deep pool of talent rosters of GMA and Regal Entertainment. This is a weekly drama anthology series that will serve as a sampler of what happens when two giants of the entertainment industry join forces to make a must-watch television program.
What a monumental coup this signifies on a nationwide scale that two giants, Regal Entertainment, headed by Mother Lily Monteverde and Roselle Monteverde, and GMA headed by Atty. Felipe L. Gozon and Atty. Annette Gozon, can join forces. When there is trust, cooperation and mutual respect between two pillars of the entertainment industry, this will only continue to benefit the general viewing public, because it will assure everyone that there will always be top-notch quality family entertainment programs that people can expect from now on from some of the country’s best actors and actresses from both camps.

Why so? Imagine having new and proven GMA Kapuso artists appear in the movies of Regal Entertainment. Imagine having Regal Babies and Regal Icons appear in the television programs of GMA. Imagine having their respective talent rosters work together “competitively” thus motivating and propelling each actor to draw out from his inner resources the very best he can offer.
And without question, this partnership between Regal Entertainment and GMA could not have come at a better time, because now, more than ever, we all rely on television channels, movies via streaming, and the numerous forms of social media for our main forms of home entertainment.
Roselle Monteverde said it best during my short interview with her a few days ago for this milestone: “Definitely, that is one of the reasons why we have this collaboration; to be able to use the talented roster of GMA. So, it’s open to us for movies, for any future projects with GMA and Regal.”
The year 2021 can be remembered for a lot of things. It is also a flagship year when it comes to the doors being opened in the local entertainment industry for different entities, companies and institutions coming together for one cause. Definitely, the continuing official partnership between Regal Entertainment and GMA is the most significant and meaningful of all, now.
