Paolo Contis and LJ Reyes have split, Lolit Solis confirms

Paolo Contis and LJ Reyes have broken up after six years together, Contis’ manager Lolit Solis confirmed.
There was no third party involved in the split between the two, but the romance between them fizzled out, Solis stated on her Instagram page yesterday, Aug. 22.
“Walang [third] party sa hiwalayang Paolo Contis at LJ Reyes. It was a matter of na-outgrow na nila ang romance sa kanilang relasyon,” the talent manager said, sharing a photo of Contis with actress Yen Santos. (There is no third party in the split between Paolo Contis and LJ Reyes. It was a matter of them outgrowing the romance in their relationship.)
Solis added that Contis and Reyes preferred to break up instead of having to fight eventually, and that they hope they can end up as friends.
“Huwag na natin idamay pa si [Yen] Santos dahil may sarili siyang love story. Kaya hindi siya kasali sa love life nila Paolo at LJ,” she stressed. (Don’t get Yen Santos involved because she has her own love story. So, she is not a part of Paolo and LJ’s love life.)
Santos and Contis recently starred in the film “A Faraway Land,” which prompted some fans to speculate that Santos caused the breakup.
Fans first speculated Contis and Reyes have called it quits when the actor removed all of Reyes’ photos on his Instagram page last week. He also stopped following anyone on the platform. Meanwhile, the actress is still following Contis’ Instagram account and kept photos of the actor on her page.

Solis told fans to stop adding “subplots” in the breakup and avoid making a “horror story” out of the actors’ split.
“Ganuon lang iyon, nawala ang romance. Stop, bago maging horror story,” she said. (It’s just that, the romance is gone. Stop before it becomes a horror story.)
Both Contis and Reyes have yet to publicly address the breakup, as of this writing. JB
