Vic Sotto not running for QC mayor, says long-time associate

MANILA, Philippines — Contrary to rumors, comedian and TV host Vic Sotto is not running for mayor of Quezon City, according to Malou Fagar, senior vice president and chief operating officer of Tape, Inc.

Sotto, known as Bossing in show biz, co-hosts the long-running noontime show “Eat Bulaga,” with his brother, Senator Tito Sotto and friend, Joey de Leon. It is  produced by Tape Inc. and aired on GMA 7.

Fagar said that she had no idea where all the talk came from. “I remember him telling me in the past that it’s already enough that his brother Tito is in politics.”
