This comes amid production for Ji Chang-wook’s upcoming Netflix original series “The Sound of Magic,” where he stars alongside fellow actors Hwang In-yeop and Choi Sung-eun. The show has stopped filming due to the actor’s condition.

Hwang In-yeop and Choi Sung-eun’s agencies confirmed that the actors were preemptively tested for COVID-19 and their results came back negative. Meanwhile, the streaming service stated that one crew member was also  found to be COVID-19 positive, as per MBN News via Soompi today, July 27.

Filming for “The Sound of Magic” will remain halted until the production company deems it “safe to resume.” Its cast and crew will then get another COVID-19 test when they get back to the series’ set.

Ji Chang-wook has starred in several South Korean drama series such as “Empress Ki,” “Backstreet Rookie,” “Healer” and “Lovestruck in the City.” He debuted as an onscreen actor through the 2006 film “Days…,” after starting his career in musical theater. Dana Cruz. /ra
