Best of Asop music fest in commemorative album

In celebration of its eighth year, the A Song of Praise (Asop) Music Festival released a commemorative album featuring 12 well-loved entries from the songwriting competition’s past editions.

The tracks are reinterpreted by some of the country’s most talented music artists: “Wag Kang Bibitaw” (by Yeng Constantino), “God Will Win Our Fight” (Thor Dulay); “You Stood By Me” (Ken San Jose); “I Am Grateful” (Mark Oblea); “God Has His Purpose (Jay-R);

“Hallelujah to the One” (Jaya); “Reason to Believe” (Jason Dy); “God is With Us” (Klarisse de Guzman); “You are Lord of All” (Jed Madela); “You’re All I Need” (Zephanie); “You’ll See Miracles” (KZ Tandingan); and “Ikaw” (Erik Santos).

Annual event

Asop, an annual event started by Bro. Eli Soriano and Daniel Razon in 2004, aims to “encourage songwriters to bring glory to God through original music” and make praise songs popular again among the public. Produced by Doc Mon del Rosario and distributed under the Cornerstone Music label, the Asop commemorative album is available for streaming across digital platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music.
