Ronnie’s way of easing pain of COVID victims’ families

Hoping to give comfort to people who have lost loved ones to COVID-19, Ronnie Liang produced and recorded a new tribute single titled, “Paalam.”

Composed by Paulo Zarate, the ballad, Ronnie said, is something he can relate to as well.

“I have met and witnessed a lot of friends and relatives who contracted COVID-19. Some of them didn’t survive. I also know families who are reeling from their loss. What they go through is heartbreaking. And I understand how they feel—the agony and pain,” the singer and army reservist said.

“That’s why I produced this song. I want to comfort them,” added Ronnie, who recently earned his private pilot license. “And I hope this song can, in some way, lessen the pain they’re feeling.”

“Paalam” is available for streaming on Spotify and YouTube. “I’m praying and hoping that our vaccine orders from other countries and pharmaceutical companies arrive soon. Let’s all stay safe and get vaccinated,” he said.
