Beauty queen Venus Raj recently graduated from the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics (OCCA), in Oxford, England, in the United Kingdom.
Raj, who is Miss Universe Philippines 2010, shared with fans photos from her graduation ceremony via Instagram last Tuesday, June 22.
“This journey at the OCCA The Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics is a journey of testing faith, delighting in God’s presence, enjoying fellowships, increasing knowledge, having meaningful conversations, discovering gifts, empowering opportunities, revisiting struggles, and gaining life-long friends,” Raj said.
One of the many photos she shared shows Raj being handed what seems to be her diploma, while some others show the friends she celebrated the academic milestone with.
Raj did not disclose specific details about the program she took at the OCCA, but is proud that she is “#Graduatenaposawakas (finally a graduate),” as seen in her post.
Before earning her recent diploma, Raj had already earned her master’s degree in community development at the University of the Philippines back in 2017. She, meanwhile, got her bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from Bicol University.
Raj, who hails from Camarines Sur, finished 4th runner-up in Miss Universe 2010.
On why she chose to get a master’s degree in community development, she told Inquirer in 2014: “I want to help my province mates someday… My goal is to put up a foundation for the youth — with special focus on education.” /ra
