Mo Twister, Angelicopter wed in Iceland wilderness: ‘Insane and insanely romantic’

Disc jockeys Mo Twister and Angelicopter have finally tied the knot in the wilderness of Iceland, but not without dealing with a few hiccups along the way.
Fortunately, DJ Mo gave fans tips on how to pull off such wedding as he announced the good news yesterday, June 6, via Instagram.
“Here’s a tip about getting married in a [faraway] wilderness like Iceland. Have not one but two backup plans [laughing emoji],” the husband said.
“[For] the second time we have been here together, things we had scheduled a long time ago were canceled by weather. We had some extreme weather that made us have to completely overhaul the entire day,” Mo Twister added.

“Where we scheduled to have our ceremony, changed due to a summertime [snowstorm]. Angelika’s wedding dress was ripped by the weather and the elements,” Mo Twister said.
He added that due to the weather, they also had to move to several locations and that his clothes were drenched. Their children, meanwhile, “nearly froze to death” so they had to stay at the hotel.
“[Then] like a miracle, we found a bright, calm and SUNNY spot wherein it ended up with just the two of us. Insane and insanely romantic,” Mo Twister fondly recalled.
“It was incredible. Our amazing videographer did an awesome job leading the way. And yay! I get to finally wear a wedding ring!! I love you @angelicopter, no wedding hashtag,” the doting husband said.

In his latest post earlier today, June 17, Mo Twister shared that he and his family are now back outdoors to have”more adventure” exploring Iceland’s wilderness.

Mo Twister and Angelicopter–Mohan Gumatay and Angelika Schmeing in real life–were co-hosts on radio station Magic 89.9 and are now based in the United States. They got engaged in May last year through a fake call Mo Twister staged during a podcast.
The two have a daughter together, named Amsterdam. Angelicopter has a son from a previous relationship, while Mo Twister has a daughter with former teen star Bunny Paras. /ra
