Divas’ duel
Now it can be told.
According to a mole, Gorgeous Diva 1 got fed up with Gorgeous Diva 2’s purportedly “scheming” ways.
It was agreed upon that the GDs would share a makeup artist for a project.
GD2, however, made sure to bring her own stylist, so that she would supposedly stand out and shine.
Moreover, GD2 somehow scored bigger photos in the resulting press coverage.
GD1 allegedly saw red and complained to the bosses who immediately took her side.
But then again, mole suspects the timing is just too propitious—coinciding with the promo activities of the GDs’ project.
Salary deduction
This is a variation on the same theme: Clash of the Titans.
Apparently, the rancor between two show biz giants has yet to subside.
Showbiz Titan 1 allegedly confronted Showbiz Titan 2 about an old issue—and went on to complain about it to friends.
ST1 is demanding the return of the P1-million cut from the salary of a Prized Talent.
Seems ST1 still blames ST2 for the salary deduction and wants the moolah back.
Front act
Suspicious insiders believe that the alleged blooming romance between Older Star and Young Hunk is a big, fat red herring.
OS has been quite vocal about her “desire” for YH.
But if memory serves, it was the Gay Pal of OS who had been linked with YH.
GP was even spotted wining and dining YH.
Is OS just a front for GP? Then again, OS is known to be an admirer of youthful beauty—both male and female.
Also, YH is notorious for wooing and winning women of a certain age.
Best form of denial
At the by-invitational premiere of the Cirque du Soleil show “Varekai” on Wednesday night, GMA 7 actress Isabel Oli was spotted in the company of ABS-CBN talent Gab Valenciano.
Such a public outing would hopefully erase rumors linking Isabel with basketball player James Yap, estranged husband of Kris Aquino.
As luck would have it, seated behind Isabel and Gab was the sister of Kris, Ballsy Aquino-Cruz who came with her family.
