Star Cinema announces TV adaptation of Calibuso’s ‘He’s Into Her’

MANILA, Philippines – Star Cinema productions officially announced on Saturday their long-awaited television adaptation of Maxine Lat Calibuso’s best-selling novel “He’s Into Her.”

In a media conference hosted by actor Robi Domingo, he asked the cast of the upcoming television series how they felt when they are now considered as the “next generation of love teams.”

The main actors, Belle Mariano and Donny Pangilinan said they are happy and grateful that they are considered as the ‘new generation’ of love teams.

“Ako naman syempre natuwa ako pero di pa rin mawawala yung pressure, being lined up with those big love teams, it’s such an honor and kinikilig ako kasi sobrang big thing nun for me since ito nga yung first break [ko] and I’m really excited for everyone to see lahat ng kilig, mga kilig scenes dito sa “He’s into Her”. Belle Mariano said.

“I think you know naman how grateful I am from the very beginning. I’m just so blessed to be able to showcase the show and not just the show but this entire cast and crew,” said Donny Pangilinan.

Pangilinan added that the cast and crew gave their all in the production of the series.

“We gave it our all. I really believe that and kung ano expectation namin dun sa shooting, I think we gave it times two, times 3, times 4, times 10 so I really don’t have any words, I’m just very very blessed and grateful at the moment,” he added.

Meanwhile, the supporting cast felt the same feelings as the main actors and are honored to be considered among the big names of love teams on television.

The upcoming television series stars Donny Pangilinan as Deib Lohr “Sensui” Enrile and Belle Mariano as Maxpein Zin “Taguro” Del Valle.

The series also stars Jeremiah Lisbo, Vivoree Esclito, Kaori Oinuma, and Rhys Miguel, Joao Constancia, and Criza Taa, Ashley Del Mundo, Gello Marquez, Dalia Varde, Sophie Reyes, Melizza Jimenez, Limer Veloso.

The series is directed by Chad Vidanes and adapted by Vanessa Valdez.

‘He’s Into Her’ will be available on the streaming platform iWant TFC on May 28, and on Kapamilya Online Live, Kapamilya Channel, and A2Z Channel on May 30.
