Concert-goers will also be able to use their ticket to watch the “Pacquiao vs. Bradley” fight broadcast from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas directly after the event.
“We are committed to delivering only high-quality entertainment for our customers to experience and enjoy,” said Thunder Valley general manager C.J. Graham. “We are truly delighted in bringing home closer to our Filipino customers through the Thunder Valley concert nights.”
Dubbed as the Philippines’ “Ultimate Heartthrob,” Piolo Pascual has won numerous acting awards, bagging seven awards for Dekada ’70, exhibited in 2005 for the Cannes Film Festival. Piolo became the most awarded actor for a single movie in 2002 and in the following year, he started his singing career with a self-titled album “Piolo.”
Piolo Pascual and Kuh Ledesma are set to perform with Kuh’s former band, Music and Magic, one of her very first bands before she was launched as a solo performer, going on to become the first Philippine singer to receive the Salem Music Award in London. Music and Magic is now made up Bobby Taylo, Jeanette Casuga and Vicky Sevilla.
Also performing is the all-new San Francisco-based band Legaci, made up Filipino Americans Chris Abad, Jason Atencion, Del Lazaro and Micah Tolentino. Legaci were Justin Bieber’s backup singers for his debut concert tour “My World Tour” in 2010, releasing their debut single entitled “All Day” in December 2011.
Ticket prices start at $29.50 and can be purchased on Ticketmaster.com, by phone at 800-745-3000 or at the casino’s ticket booth. These tickets also serve as admission to the broadcast of the “Pacquiao vs. Bradley” fight after the concert.
The Filipino concert is only one of the many events scheduled at Thunder Valley this summer, including Super 70’s Soul Jam, Bret Michaels, Henry Kapono with Sister Robi, Trace Adkins and Gabriel Iglesias. A full entertainment schedule is available at www.thundervalleyresort.com.
