“Spending quality time with your loved ones is the best gift you can give them,” said singer-actress Vina Morales, who recently took her daughter Ceana to Disneyland Resort in Hong Kong to celebrate her little princess’ third birthday.

She sent exclusive photos to Inquirer Entertainment of their three-day vacation.

“We had a blast! It was one of our best bonding moments, aside from our trip to Boracay during the Holy Week,” Vina recalled. Ceana’s godmother Icel Argana and yaya Evelyn Acero tagged along. They all stayed at the Disneyland Hollywood Hotel on Lantau Island.

“When we arrived, we went straight to the park so Ceana could enjoy all the attractions. We had dinner that night at the Enchanted Garden, where she met Disney characters Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Pluto. It was the highlight of our trip—she got to blow the candles and cut her cake with Minnie.”

They had more fun on the second day. “The weather was much cooler. That night, we waited for the fireworks display. Ceana really enjoyed it because she kept reciting the colors she saw from the fireworks.”

Added Vina: “All of Ceana’s cousins were in the United States at that time and they all got to visit Universal Studios, I took Ceana to Hong Kong because it’s nearer and I could take only a few days off.”

Vina will start rehearsing for the Philippine production of the rock musical “Rock of Ages,” where she plays the lead role. The Atlantis Productions presentation runs from June 15 to July 5 at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium of RCBC Plaza in Makati.

Vina didn’t make any plans for today, Mother’s Day: “My daughter and I will just go to church. What’s important is that we’re together.”
